Sarah was born in 1837 in AL.1 Sarah's father was James Youngblood and her mother was Elizabeth Lee. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob B. Youngblood and Sarah Still; her maternal grandparents were John, Jr. Lee and Sarah Bean. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John Lake, David B., Jacob Bean, James J., Thomas Jefferson, Joseph L., George Washington, Sr. and Amy Jane. She was the second oldest of the nine children. Hi, Ron, I looked on a sheet I ordered for Mills marriages in Alabama.
With the info you gave me, I found that Mrs. Sarah Mills married Noah
Hurley on 23 Aug 1868 in Pike County, AL. (Marriage Book 6 page 138)
On page 187 in "Pike Co., Ala Tomb Records" is the following: Noah
Hurley is
buried at Mt. Moriah Cemetery located SW of Orion. He was born 3 Feb
1808 and died 14 May 1892. He is buried on the left of J. F. Hurley born
1853 and died 1920. Other Hurleys buried in this cemetery:
**James C. - no dates - Co A 39 Ala Inf CSA, 10 grave mounds on left, one
on
right
**Lorenza J. - 4 Jul 1865-28 Mar 1941 - See Nova M. Hurley
**Luther J. - 3 Jun 1893-23 Jul 1895 - See Nova M. Hurley

There was not a Sarah Hurley listed.
If Noah Hurley is the man Sarah Youngblood Mills married, she surely must
not
have been his first wife, as he is years older than she. I do not know
how
many years, because I do not know the year of her birth, but Daniel
Bradley
Mills was born 1832, so she was probably born in that vicinity. (Noah
Hurley
was about 24 years older than Daniel Brad Mills.)
I would love to have the siblings of Daniel Mills and Sarah Youngblood as
well as her parents. I noticed you have several generations of
Youngbloods
beyond Sarah.
It is possible that Sarah Youngblood Mills Hurley married a third time
after
Noah Hurley died, as she was probably in her 50's. This going on the
assumption, that this older Noah is the man she married. If so, she
might be
buried beside the possible-third-husband. It would be interesting to
know if a
Mrs. Sarah Hurley married. Another scenario is that Sarah Youngblood
Mills
married a younger Noah Hurley and they moved from Pike County. So many
questions, but I did not help you answer yours as to when and where Sarah
Youngblood died.
I'm sure you know Connie Bird and Mamie Sellers who are descendants of
this
line. If not, I'm sure they would like to meet you.
