James Franklin Waldrip 
James Franklin was born on April 13th, 1835 in Chambers Co., AL.1 James Franklin's father was William Waldrip and his mother was Margaret Flowers. He had six brothers and three sisters, named J. Yancy, John Russell, William Chambers, Sanford Byrd, Elisa Victory, Asa Melton, Sarah Ann, Betsy A. and Rebecca M.. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 56 on May 25th, 1891 in Iredell, Bosque, TX.1 
James Franklin and Martha Ann were married in a religious ceremony on October 16th, 1860 in Jackson Parish, LA.1 They had three sons and a daughter, named James Lafeyette, Charlie Dulaney, Walter Franklin and Asa Lenora.
