Jordan was born about 1818 in NC.1   Jordan's father was Henry Loderick Teel and his mother was Martha Young.  His paternal grandfather was Loderick Teel. He had a brother named Calvin.  He was the older of the two children.  He died in ?.1 


Jordan's family with Rebecca Pearce

‌Jordan and Rebecca were married in a religious ceremony on August 22nd, 1845 in ?.1   They had a son and a daughter, named John and Mary.
