John J. Stroud

John J. was born on October 21st, 1869 in Pike Co., AL.¹   John J.'s father was David Stroud and his mother was Martha Low Davison. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Walter Wallace, William Wilson, Nancy Arkansas, Lauada Lenora, Alice Amelia, Annie Belle, Minnie Dell and Ruby Merle.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 16 on October 7th, 1886 in Snowden, Montgomery Co., AL.  He was buried in Elam Cemetery, Pike Co., AL.^1 1
