In answer to your query to the Strouds- I found this information in a book
names Strouds and Raley. Hope this is helpful to you. David Stroud born
3-2-1839, died 10-7-1913 buried at Elam Cemetery, married 7-28-1866 to:
Martha Davison Stroud born 6-20-1851, died 3-28-1920 buried at Elam
Cemetery.
Her children are: John J. Stroud born 10-21-1869, died 10-7-1886, buried
at
Elam Cemetery. Was killed at Snowden, Al while working for Bridge Gang of
Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. Nancy Arkansas Srtoud Youngblood (Cannie)
born
6-20-1872, died 2-24-1959, buried in San Antonio, Texas. Lauada Lenora
Stroud Bryan born 3-25-1874, died 2-26-1953. Buried at Elam Cemetery.

Sorry I did not tell where Elam Cementary was. It is located in Pike Co
Ala. Take Hwy 29 weat out of Troy until you come to County Rd 5 take a
left (This takes you to Goshen, Ala. Go about 5 miles and on your left
will be a big white church and cementary this is Elam Primative Baptist
Church. I am working on the geneology which the Strouds are part of. My
maiden names was Raley. Wilson and Wallace married my aunts so I grew
up with the Wilson Stroud family. was
