"DEATH! DEATH!
The grim Reaper of death appeared at the home of Mr. Sim Miller three
miles southwest of here Saturday night and cut down Mrs. Sim Miller. She
was sick with the 'Flu' only a few days. She was the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. C. W. Stewart and leaves a husband and father and mother and
brothers and sisters and many relatives to mourn her lose. She was about
25 years old.
There is a reaper whose name is Death and with a sickle keen: He reaps
the bearded grain at a breath. And the flowers that grow between." (1)

Family Notes
[coosa1.ged]
"Local and Personal
Mr. Sim Miller and Miss Bessie Stewart were married at the church at
Sears Chapel last Sunday morning. The groom is a son of Dock Miller who
resides upon Hatchett and is a farmer. The bride is the second daughter
of C. W. Stewart, one of our business men her, and she knows well how to
preside over a home. She has been trained that way, and will make her
husband a splendid wife.
We congratulate them and wish they may lay hold of life with a view
to making it a success." (1)
