Lois was born on April 11th, 1916 in Shelby Co., AL.1 Lois' father was George Osha Spradley and her mother was Lillie M. West. Her paternal grandparents were John William Spradley and Sarah Carrie Cashatt. She had a brother and a sister, named Mlevin and Dorthy. She was the second oldest of the three children.
