Hugh Shaw

Hugh was born on November 25th, 1799 in Guilford Co., NC.¹   Hugh's father was Hugh Shaw and his mother was Elizabeth Finley. He had two brothers named David C. and Thomas Calhoun, Sr..  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 48 on January 13th, 1848 in Coosa Co., AL.¹ 

‌Hugh and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on November 11th, 1822 in Clarke Co., AL.¹
