Ben was born on May 8th, 1883 in Audenshaw, Lancashire, England.1 Ben's father was Thomas George Sainsbury and his mother was Mary Barrett. His paternal grandparents were Edgar SAINSBURY and Emily BEACHAM; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM BARRETT and Phoebe Colbourne. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Edwin, George Thomas, Walter, Egbert, Wilford Wallace, Emily, Lavina and Edith. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 on July 24th, 1965 in St George, Washington Co., Utah. He was buried on July 30th, 1965 in Moses Lake, Grant Co., Washington.1 1 -
