Stacy Linton was born on November 9th, 1880 in Orion, Pike County, Alabama.1 Stacy Linton's father was Charles Avent Rollins and his mother was Celeste Pauline Linton. His paternal grandparents were John W. Rollins (doctor) and Martha Anne Douglas. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Charles Edgar, Herbert Bryant, Tempie Ann, Ada Levena, Leonora, Kate Glen, Josie Alice and Jord Avent. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on February 25th, 1968 in Atmore, Escambia County, Alabama. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Atmore, Escambia County, Alabama.1 1 -
