Hezakiah Kyle was born on November 29th, 1854 in Pike Co., AL.1 Hezakiah Kyle's father was Wade Hezekiah Pugh and his mother was Hicksey Talbot. His paternal grandparents were Burrell B. Pugh and Barbara C. Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Burrell Franklin, Joseph D., Jeffeson, Yancy, Maria, Barbara and Rhoda E.. He was the third oldest of the eight children. "Kyle Pugh, 81, Dies Wednesday Night
Kyle Pugh, 81 died Wednesday evening at about 7:00 at the home of J. D.
Spivey on the Troy-Luverne highway. Mr. Pugh had lived at the Spivey home
a number of years.
Surviving are one son, Bill Pugh: three daughters, Mrs. Gene Mullis, Mrs.
Claude Faulkner, Mrs. Frank Faulkner and Miss Lula Pugh, all of near Troy.
Burial will be in the Penn Cemetery Friday at ten o'clock with Wood in
charge."
Note by Ron Bridges: He is not buried in the Penn Cemetery. I have been
to his grave in the Hinson Cemetery.
