Nicholas was born about 1563.1 Nicholas' father was JOHN PRESTON and his mother was MARGARET CURWEN. His paternal grandparents were THOMAS PRESTON and ANN THORNBURGH; his maternal grandparents were THOMAS CURWEN and AGNES STRICKLAND. He had a brother and a sister, named THOMAS and Margaret. He was the oldest of the three children.-
