Margaret was born about 1567.1 Margaret's father was JOHN PRESTON and her mother was MARGARET CURWEN. Her paternal grandparents were THOMAS PRESTON and ANN THORNBURGH; her maternal grandparents were THOMAS CURWEN and AGNES STRICKLAND. She had two brothers named Nicholas and THOMAS. She was the youngest of the three children.-
