Amanda Murphy

Amanda was born about 1834 in SC.¹   Amanda's father was Joseph Drury Murphy and her mother was Edy Jackson. She had three brothers and six sisters, named William J., Mark Emanuel, Zeke Jesse, Susan W., Julia, Harriett F., Elizabeth, Jane and Polly. She had a half-sister named Jane.  She died in ?.¹ 

‌Amanda and Mackleberry B. were married in a religious ceremony on December 22nd, 1855 in Coosa Co., AL.¹   They had three sons and five daughters, named James, John L., Monroe, Edy Francis, Julia, Kate, Sarah E. and Susan.
