"Sarah Louisa Moseley was born in Abbeville District, South Carolina, 8
March 1849, the daughter of Elizabeth Arnold Paschall and Thomas
Archibald Moseley. She came to Coosa County in 1856 with her parents and
grandparents, Jane McKinley and Henry Moseley. Several of Henry
Moseley's other children and their families moved with them. Each family
brought all of their servants, their animals and many wagons of household
goods and farm equipment. The move from South Carolina took two years.
Henry Moseley and his son, Thomas, settled Coosa County, where each
bought large farms in 1856.
Henry Mosely died, aged 88, in Coosa intestate (probate 2 April
1863). Thomas Moseley died 28 June 1918; his wife, Elizabeth died 20
September 1909. Both are buried in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery,
Coosa County.
Thomas Archibald Moseley was born in Abbeville District, SC, 19 March
1827. In 1847, he married Elizabeth Arnold Paschall, the daughter of
Sarah E. and Milton Paschall. They were the parents of the following
children:

Collier; James A. 1862, m. Eula Collier; Elizabeth A. 1866, m. Francis M.
Penton; Caroline Hill 1867, m. John Henry Collier.
Tura Odell Jacks, the second daughter of Sarah Louisa and Isaac M.
Jacks, married Banks Camp Bennett in Vernon, Texas.
Their oldest daughter, Early May Bennett, married Uriel Harper Reed,
and their daughter, Turalu Reed (Mrs. Joseph Lajus Brady), is submitting
