Emory Morris

Emory was born in 1855 in Blount Co., AL.¹   Emory's father was Benjamin C. Morris and his mother was Cary Ann Anderton.  His maternal grandparents were James Berry, Sr. Anderton and Mary Cantrell. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Leonard N., Seborn Thomas, James H., Alva H., Mary and John Henry.  He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Walter, Berdie and Verdie.  He died at the age of 96 in 1951 in OK.  He was buried in Cornish Cemetery, Ringling, OK.^1 1
