J. Lafayette Mills

J. Lafayette was born on April 12th, 1852 in GA.¹ J. Lafayette's father was Hugh Washington Mills and his mother was Cynthia A. McEwen. His maternal grandparents were Robert Bort McEwen and Rachel Hawkins. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Berry, George Washington, Hugh Washington, Robert Auston, John Thomas, Albert Preston, Elizabeth, Charity M. and Mary Ann. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 80 on July 22nd, 1932 in ?.¹
