William B. McLendon 
William B. was born in 1844 in Randolph Co., GA.1 William B.'s father was Simpson McLendon and his mother was Elizabeth Eugenia Castellow. His paternal grandparents were Stephens McLendon and Catherine Jenkins; his maternal grandparents were John Bryant Castellow and Amy Hill McClendon. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Simpson, Andrew Jackson, John C., James Isham, Martha, Harriet, Sarah Jane, Amy, Eliza and Mary Etta. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
