Andrew Jackson was born on March 5th, 1846 in Morris Station, Quitman Co., GA.1 Andrew Jackson's father was Simpson McLendon and his mother was Elizabeth Eugenia Castellow. His paternal grandparents were Stephens McLendon and Catherine Jenkins; his maternal grandparents were John Bryant Castellow and Amy Hill McClendon. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Simpson, William B., John C., James Isham, Martha, Harriet, Sarah Jane, Amy, Eliza and Mary Etta. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 73 on March 1st, 1920 in Dawson, Terrell Co., GA.1 -
