Her paternal grandparents were Joel Ledbetter and Catherine Brazelton; her maternal grandparents were William Henry, Jr. Buford and Jane D. Sherman. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Pascal E., John H., Albert Devotie, William M. M., Reuben Bonburant, Daniel Littleberry Woodville, Sarah Hannah and Elizabeth C.. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died in 1888 in Coahoma Co., MS.1 -
