Ludwig KRAMER 
Ludwig was born in 1739 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.1 Ludwig's father was ANDREAS KRAMER and his mother was MARIA MAGDALENA (BERKEL) PURTLE. His paternal grandfather was MATHIAS KRAMER; his maternal grandparents were HANS JACOB BERKEL and ANNA BARBARA. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, Daniel, George, John Jacob, ADAM, Michael, Christian and Rosina. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
