William Johnson

William was born about 1792.¹ William's father was Samuel, Sr. Johnson and his mother was Hannah Cooper. His maternal grandparents were James- Cooper and Hannah Hibbs. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, Jr., James, Joseph, Charles O., George W., Margaret, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the ten children.
