Joseph Johnson

Joseph was born about 1797.¹ Joseph's father was Samuel, Sr. Johnson and his mother was Hannah Cooper. His maternal grandparents were James- Cooper and Hannah Hibbs. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Joseph, Samuel, Jr., James, Charles O., George W., Margaret, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
