James Milton was born on July 22nd, 1854 in Pike Co., AL.1 James Milton's father was John Pittman Jinright and his mother was Eliza Ann Hanchey. His paternal grandparents were William Jinright and Susannah Pittman; his maternal grandparents were William Hanchey and Frances Letlow. He had a brother and a sister, named Jesse and Ursula.
