Mary Groom

Mary was born about 1773.¹ Mary's father was John, Sr. Groom and her mother was Phebe Cooper. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas, Sr. Cooper and Phebe Hibbs. She had three brothers named Thomas, Evan and John, Jr.. She was the second youngest of the four children.
