Mary Marie was born on July 16th, 1836 in Overton County, Tennessee.1 Mary Marie's father was Joseph Garrett and her mother was Polly Mary Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Bernard Garrett and Mary Jane Taylor. She was an only child. She died at the age of 65 on December 17th, 1901 in Cumberland, Kentucky.1 -
