John Ammie Garrett

John Ammie was born in 1898.¹   John Ammie's father was William Anderson Garrett and his mother was Amanda Virginia Brooks.  His paternal grandmother was Martha J. Little. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Ernest Greely, William Marvin, Autrie Lee, J. P., Carmen Anderson, Lura Bell, Martha Vera, Eva Mae and Cumi.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 83 in 1981.¹
