George W. Garrett 
George W. was born in 1839.1 George W.'s father was Joshua, Jr. Garrett and his mother was Nancy Cope. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Bernard Garrett and Mary Jane Taylor. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Monroe, William Carroll, Newton Smith, Joshua Winchester, Mary Ann, Tennessee and Rebecca Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
