Florida Garrett

Florida was born in October 1888.¹ Florida's father was Creed Garrett and her mother was Julia Ann Beaty. Her paternal grandparents were Loderick Garrett and Mary L. Pryor. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph W., James Marion, Hobert Robert, Moses, Victoria, Mary Frances, Eliza and Louisa Rachel. She was the youngest of the nine children.
