Abraham Ellison was born on September 10th, 1800 in Buckingham County, Virginia.1 Abraham Ellison's father was Elijah Caleb Garrett and his mother was Mary Ann Casey\Cayce. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Garrett and Magdalene Bernard; his maternal grandparents were Aaron Casey\Cayce and Mary (Polly) Wayne. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Shadrack, Isaac D., Pleasant, Thomas, John, John, Elijah, Elijah and Mary Elizabeth. He died at the age of 76 on January 20th, 1877 in Overton County, Tennessee.1 -
