Susanna Garn 
Susanna was born on September 26th, 1829 in Union Township, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.1 Susanna's father was Christopher (Christian) GARN and her mother was Elizabeth Ickes. Her paternal grandparents were FREDERICK GARN and FANNY MOCK; her maternal grandparents were Henry Ickes and Catherine Hinish. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John Ickes, Jacob, George Ickes, Daniel Ickes, William, Catherine, Margaret Ickes, Rachel, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the eleven children.-
