Salome (Sarah) was born on September 3rd, 1803 in Reynoldsdale, Bedford Co., Penn.1 Salome (Sarah)'s father was FREDERICK GARN and her mother was FANNY MOCK. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN GARN and MARY LEIN; her maternal grandparents were PETER MOCK and ELIZABETH (SAMPLER) SAMPLE. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Christopher (Christian), Henry, Catherine, MARY MOLLY, Susannah and Hannah. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 95 on December 18th, 1898 in Osterburg, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.1 -
