George GARN 
George was born on April 23rd, 1797 in Reynoldsdale, Bedford Co., Penn.1 George's father was FREDERICK GARN and his mother was FANNY MOCK. His paternal grandparents were JOHN GARN and MARY LEIN; his maternal grandparents were PETER MOCK and ELIZABETH (SAMPLER) SAMPLE. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Christopher (Christian), Henry, Catherine, Salome (Sarah), MARY MOLLY, Susannah and Hannah. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on January 29th, 1878 in Weyant, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.1 -
