Peter Elmore 
Peter was born about 1672 in York Co., VA.1 Peter's father was Thomas I Elmore and his mother was Rebecca Austin. His maternal grandfather was James Austin. He had two brothers named Rebecca and Thomas Archer II. He was the youngest of the three children. He died on March 26th, 1730 in VA.1 General Notes

Peter was most likely born in York Co., VA. No recorded proof just family
history. Peter married Rebecca by 1697 and all their children, except
Thomas, were born in St. Peter’s Parish of New Kent County, Virginia,
where Peter owned 100 acres. Ref. English duplicates of Lost Virginia

Peter and Rebecca were married in a religious ceremony in 1697 in New Kent Co., VA.1 They had three sons and two daughters, named William, Peter, Jr., Harris, Elizabeth and Mary.
