John Silas Douglas 
John Silas was born on June 11th, 1855.1 John Silas' father was John H. Douglas and his mother was Elizabeth McLennon. His paternal grandparents were Silas Douglas and Mary Harrington; his maternal grandparents were Alexander McLennon and UNKNOWN Anna. He had a brother and two sisters, named Alexander Stacey, Mary Christian and Annabelle. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
