Emma Cooper

Emma was born in May 1879 in Ohio.¹ Emma's father was Alpheus H. Cooper and her mother was Barbara Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Meshach Cooper and Elizabeth Ludwick. She had three brothers and a sister, named William C., Howard J., Norman V. and Elinora. She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother named Francis. She died at the age of 15 in April 1895 in Ohio.¹
