Enoch James Castleberry 
Enoch James was born on May 30th, 1826 in GA.1 Enoch James' father was William Castleberry and his mother was Jane Vineyard. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Castleberry and Mary Vineyard. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Lacey B., Jeremiah, Joesph Vineyard, Mary Ann, Martha Elizabeth, Frances, Rebecca and Minerva. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 on April 15th, 1910 in Sylacauga, Talladega Co., AL. He was buried in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL.1 1 General Notes

THE CHRONICLE
Enoch Castleberry, for many years a resident of this county, died
recently in Sylacauga and was brought back to this county at Salem
Church. The deceased was a highly respected citizen. He lacked only a few
days of being 86 years of age. He leaves a widow, five daughters, and
three sons to mourn his loss.(1)
