Ann was born in 1786.1   Ann's father was Richard Castleberry and her mother was Ann Trice.  Her paternal grandparents were Paul Castleberry and Margaret Adams. She had seven brothers named Edward, Issac, Asa Edwin, John Richard, David Trice, Aaron Trice and Job.  She was the youngest of the eight children.
