Thomas' father was William CONINGSBY and his mother was BENEDICTA de FRERIE.  His paternal grandparents were Roger CONINGSBY and Jeanne de BAGOTT; his maternal grandfather was Ingram de FRERIE.  He was an only child.

They had a son named John.
