Henry Grady Bell

Henry Grady was born on October 10th, 1895.¹ Henry Grady's father was James Matthew Bell and his mother was Susan J. Brantley. His paternal grandparents were Bazel Bell and Ellender Humphry; his maternal grandparents were Oren Brantley and Nancy Hawkins. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Arthur Freeman, Thomas Rosco, Grover Cleveland, Lawrence Wittic, Nannie Eleanor, Effie Jane and Ola Pauline. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
