John BENJAMIN

John was born on November 21st, 1784 in Luzerne, Co., Pennsylvania.¹ John's father was Richard BENJAMIN and his mother was Martha BENNETT. His paternal grandparents were JONATHAN BENJAMIN and MARY REEVES; his maternal grandparents were Amos BENNETT and Anna DUNCAN. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jonathan, Peter, David, Jesse, Joshua, son, son, Polly, Sally, Patty, Mehitable (Hettey) and Betsy. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 76 on January 21st, 1861 in Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.¹
