JAMES REEVES 
JAMES was born in 1650 in Southold, Suffolk Co., New York.1 JAMES' father was THOMAS (James) REEVES and his mother was MARY PURRIER. His paternal grandparents were ROBERT REEVES and AGNES UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM (Capt) PURRIER and ALICE KNIGHT. He had five brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Thomas, William, John, Isaac, Jonathan, Mary, Hannah and Joseph. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 48 on May 6th, 1698 in Southold, Suffolk Co., New York.1 -
