James Anderton 
James was born in 1848 in Marshall Co., AL.1 James' father was James Berry, Jr. Anderton and his mother was Martha Crabtree. His paternal grandparents were James Berry, Sr. Anderton and Mary Cantrell. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Jasper, William, Lucinda, Rebecca, Isabella and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Elizabeth and Emily. He died in ?.1
