Mary Alford

Mary was born in 1539 in Whitestaunton, Somersetshire, England.¹ Mary's father was ALEXANDER (Reverand) ALFORD and her mother was UNKNOWN AGNES. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN ALFORD and UNKNOWN Miss. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Solomon (Salaman), WILLIAM (John), John, Bartholomew, Alice, Elinor and Bridget. She was the oldest of the eight children.
