Joan de Vere 
Joan was born in 1264 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Joan's father was Sir Robert de Vere Earl of Oxford and her mother was Alice de Sanford. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Vere Earl of Oxford and Hawise de Quincy; her maternal grandparents were Gilbert de Sanford and Loretta (Lora) la Zouche. She had five brothers and a sister, named Gilbert, Philip, Alfonso, Hugh, Robert and Hawise. She died at the age of 29 on November 23rd, 1293 in Lewes, Sussex, England.General Notes
