Roger de Mortimer II of Chirk 
Roger was born about 1256. Roger's father was Roger de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and his mother was Maud de Braose. His paternal grandparents were Ralph de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and Gwladus Ddu "the Dark verch Llywelyn Fawr; his maternal grandparents were William "Black Will" de Braose Lord Brecknock and Eva Marshal. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, Sir Edmund de Mortimer, Geoffrey, William, Isabella and Isolde (Iseude). He had a half-sister named Gwenllian. He died about August 3rd, 1326.-
