John de Latham 
John was born about 1390 in Astbury, Cheshire, England. John's father was Hugh Leon of Congleton de Latham and his mother was Joyce Latchkey. His paternal grandparents were Philip Andrew of Congleton de Latham and Mary de Chester. He had three brothers named Thomas Timothy of Gongleton, Robert and William. He was the second oldest of the four children.-
