Joan de Cantelou 
Joan was born about 1242. Joan's father was Sir William de Cantelou III Baron Abergavenny and her mother was Eva de Braose. Her paternal grandparents were William de Cantelou II Lord Tre-Cantlow and Milicent de Gournay; her maternal grandparents were William "Black Will" de Braose Lord Brecknock and Eva Marshal. She had a brother and a sister, named George and Millicent. She had a half-sister named daughter. She died before June 1271.General Notes
Joan married Henry de Hastings d.1269. There is a misprint giving Joan as dying 1217 when in fact she died in 1271 (*Complete Peerage* VI:346).
