Blanche Capet was born about 1248 in Arras, France.  Blanche Capet's father was Robert Capet de Artois I Ct de Artois and her mother was Matilda de Brabant.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis VIII Capet the Lion King of France and Blanca de Castile; her maternal grandparents were Henri de Brabant II Duc de Brabant and Marie Hohenstaufen of Swabia. She had a brother named Robert Capet de Artois II.  She was the older of the two children.  She died on May 2nd, 1302 in Paris, Seine, France.

‌Blanche Capet and Edmund Crouchback were married in a religious ceremony on October 29th, 1276 in Paris, France.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Thomas, Henry, John Plantagenet of Beaufort and Mary.
