Edmund Crouchback was born in London, England.  Edmund Crouchback's father was Henry III Plantagenet King of England and his mother was Eleanor Berenger de Provence.  His paternal grandparents were John Lackland Plantagenet King of England and Isabella Taillefer de AngoulIme; his maternal grandparents were Raimund VI Berenger Ct de Provence and Beatrice de Savoie. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Edward I Longshanks, Richard, John, William, Henry, Margaret, Beatrice and Katherine.  He died on June 5th, 1296 in Bayonne, France.
